El presente estudio tuvo el objetivo de determinar el impacto socioeconómico del PSA y la CFV como mecanismos que promueven la sostenibilidad del manejo forestal en Costa Rica. Para ello, se formuló un estándar de principios, criterios e indicadores (PC&I) para caracterizar los impactos socioeconómicos del PSA y la CFV, el cual fue revisado, discutido, mejorado y calificado por un grupo interdisciplinario en dos talleres. La calificación hecha al estándar sirvió para calcular los pesos de sus respectivos PC&I. The objective of the present study is to determine the socio-economic impact of PES and VFC as mechanisms that promote the sustainability of forest management in Costa Rica. A standard of principles, criteria and indicators (PC&I) was formulated to characterize these socio-economic impacts. During two workshops, an interdisciplinary team reviewed, discussed, improved and qualified this standard. The qualification served to calculate the weights of each PC&I.
