Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Honduras durante el 2019, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortalecimiento del sector agrícola, por medio de procesos de extensión agrícola, seguimientos técnicos y administrativos, apoyo técnico, asistencia técnica, capacitaciones y bonos para la siembra de granos básicos y cultivos para productores. Asimismo, se mejoro el ciclo de producción del café, aumentando la calidad, la capacidad de producción; de la misma manera, se implementaron, la producción de semillas básicas, los sistemas de riego en estaciones experimentales, la bioeconomía orientada al cultivo de aguacate y el análisis de riesgos. Finalmente, se promovieron innovaciones tecnológicas para la adaptación de la agricultura familiar ante el cambio climático, con el fin de rescatar y promover la cultura rural del país. The main activities carried out by the Institute in Honduras during 2019 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening of the agricultural sector, through agricultural extension processes, technical and administrative follow-ups, technical support, technical assistance, training and bonuses for planting basic grains and crops for producers. Likewise, the coffee production cycle was improved, increasing quality and production capacity; In the same way, the production of basic seeds, irrigation systems in experimental stations, bioeconomy oriented to avocado cultivation and risk analysis were implemented. Finally, technological innovations were promoted for the adaptation of family farming to climate change, in order to rescue and promote the country's rural culture.
