The main activities carried out by the Institute in Antigua and Barbuda during 2021 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues of apiculture, sustainability, resilience to climate change, land use, food safety and innocuousness, and composting. Likewise, work was done on improving irrigation systems, communication services, mitigating the problems caused by COVID-19, in the production of Miel Campeche and Piña negra. Finally, work was done on the development of a mobile application (Hive Keep), to manage beekeeping production processes. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Antigua y Barbuda durante el 2021, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de apicultura, sostenibilidad, resiliencia ante el cambio climático, uso de los suelos, seguridad e inocuidad de los alimentos y compostaje. Así mismo, se trabajo en mejorar los sistemas de riego, en los servicios de comunicación, en mitigar los problemas provocados por el COVID-19, en las producciones de Miel Campeche y de Piña negra. Finalmente, se trabajo en desarrollo de una aplicación móvil (Hive Keep), para gestionar procesos de la producción apícola.
