This report is structured as follows: chapter i provides this brief introduction. In order to set the background for priority setting in the Caribbean, chapter 2 provides a brief description of several National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) and of CARDI. In chapter 3, the alternative methologies reviewed with workshop participants are presented. The core of this report is contained in chapter 4. This chapter provides a model of an ARPSSC, along with some evaluations of research themes of common interest in the Caribbean. Chapter 4 also introduces a scoring model that can be used as a starting point to set priorities at the subregional level. Finally, chapter 5 presents concluding remarks and recommendations based on the experience of the project in the Caribbean
