La optimización de la embriogénesis somática de musáceas en todos sus aspectos, es una prioridad para que esta técnica pueda ser utilizada de manera confiable como estrategia para la multiplicación clonal y el mejoramiento genètico convencional. Este trabajo pretende contribuir con este proceso mediante la comparación de las fases de germinación de embriones, desarrollo y aclimatación de plantas de dos cultivares de Musa sp. ('Curraré' AAB y 'Dátil' AA) en bioreactores de inmersión temporal (RITA y Nalgen y en medio semi-sólido. A pesar de que son necesarios más estudios para ajustar de manera óptima el sistema, con el uso de suspensiones celulares embriogénicas (SCE) en inmersión temporal se ha logrado amplificar y favorecer la sincronía de la embriogénesis somájtica, mejorando la densidad y la calidad de los embriones y plantas obtenidas; así como disminuir los tiempos y costos de producción. |

The optimization of somatic embryogenesis protocols of musáceas is a priority as it can be used as a reliable method of clonal multiplication. In this study we are comparing the effects of semisolid media in petri dishes and the condition of two temporary inmersion bioreactors (RITA and Nalgen) on in vitro regeneration of Musa cultivars 'Curraré' (AAB) and 'Dátil' (AA). In attempt to optimize in vitro regeneration in these two Musa cultivars, the effects of method of propagation on growth rate, quantity, quality and ability plants of regenerated to acclimatize in the in vitro environment were assessed. Although more studies are necessary to find the optimal system, the use of embriogenic cellular suspensions (ECS) in temporary immersion bioreactors has enabled amplification and favored the synchrony of somatic embryogenesis, improving the density and quality of embryos and plants; as well as diminish time and production costs. |
