Summary, etc	En este trabajo se realiza un estudio sobre las prioridades sociales y arreglos institucionales para la gestión local del Corredor Biológico Volcánica Central-Talamanca (CBVCT). El objetivo de la investigación fue identificar las condiciones y procesos necesarios para la gestión efectiva y participativa del CBVCT. Respecto a las lecciones aprendidas de la gestión local de los tres corredores biológicos sistematizados se evidenciaron los siguientes: la consolidación y el fortalecimiento de las tres comisiones de gestión la reducción de la vulnerabilidad ante riesgos acceso a mecanismos de compensación financiera a mayor número beneficiarios gran cantidad de actores involucrados en la gestión del corredor e incremento de mejores técnicas y adecuadas prácticas agrícolas amigables con el ambiente que permitió el proceso de restauración del paisaje en mayor o menor grado en cada uno de los tres corredores sistematizados.

Summary, etc	In this research, a study is conducted on social priorities and institutional arrangements for local management of the Volcánica Central-Talamanca Biological Corridor (VCTBC). The objective of this research was to identify the conditions and processes necessary for effective and participative management of the VCTBC. With respect to the lessons learned from local management ot the three systematized biological corridors, the following aspects were observed: consolidation and strengthening of the three management commissions risk vulnerability reduction access to financial compensation mechanisMON for a greater number of beneficiaries numerous actors involved in corridor management and an increase in better techniques and adequate environmentally friendly agricultural practices which allowed for landscape restoration processes to a large or small degree in each of the three systematized corridors.<br/>
