Este documento contiene una propuesta de Ordenamiento Territorial de la zona afectada por el Huracán Félix en sus dos áreas perturbadas alta y medianamente afectadas del bosque en la Region Autónoma del Atlántico Norte en Nicaragua, como instrumento de orientación en la gestión para aprovechar, manejar y restaurar las zonas impactadas, con el único propósito de mejorar las condiciones de vida de las poblaciones rurales e indígenas que se encuentran asentadas en estas zonas. Este documento fue elaborado en base a una recopilación de información prioritaria para la propuesta y con ayuda de los SIG se construyeron los diferentes mapas hasta llegar al mapa del Ordenamiento Territorial deseado en el 2032 |

en la cual se plantean diferentes actividades o zonas de desarrollo entre ellas: el aprovechamiento forestal, la ampliación de la zonas de manejo y aprovechamiento forestal. Tambien se definen, las zonas agrícolas y ganaderas que son fundamentales para el desarrollo futuro debido al crecimiento poblacional. Esos recursos de tierra y áreas son necesarios para la seguridad alimentaria y subsistencia. Si continuan los procesos actuales de manejo de los recursos, estos sistemas productivos se verán afectados y toda la población sufrirá daños sociales y económicos, se producen tambien impactos ambientales negativos incrementaodose ásí la pobreza existente en la zona. |

This document contains a proposed zoning of the area affected by Hurricane Felix in both high and moderately disturbed areas of affected forest in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region in Nicaragua, as an instrument of management guidance to build, manage and restore impacted areas, with the sole purpose of improving the living conditions of rural populations and indigenous people who are living in these areas. This document was prepared based on a compilation of priority information for the proposal and with the help of GIS, different maps were constructed until achieving the desired land in 2032 |

with the availability of different activities or areas of development between them: logging, expansion of the management zones and logging. It also defmes the agricultural and pastoral areas that are critical for future development due to population growth. These areas of land and resources are needed for food security and livelihoods. If they continue the current processes of resource management, these farms will be effected and the whole population will suffer social and economic damage, this will also produce negative environmental impacts and increase the poverty in the area. |
