Este trabajo tiene como fin medir los niveles poblacionales de fitonematodos y nematodos del suelo en presencia de banano, café y árboles en los cafetales del norte de Nicaragua. El estudio se realizó en 28 fincas de la comunidad de Monterrey. Se evaluaron cuatro tratamientos por finca: Café-Banano-Leguminosa (CBL), Café-Banano (CB), Café-Leguminosa (CL) y Café a pleno sol (C). Las variedades de café a estudiar fue Caturra, en banano Gros Michel y en leguminosa fue Guaba (Inga sp). Las variables a medir en cada uno de los tratamientos fueron: porcentaje de hojarasca, porcentaje de arvenses, porcentaje de sombra y densidad aparente del suelo. Los resultados evidenciaron diferencias estadísticas significativas a un nivel. Con el fin de determinar cuáles eran los tratamientos que generaban diferencias estadísticas se utilizaron pruebas de comparaciones múltiples LsD Fisher. Los nematodos identificados en el suelo se utilizaron para calcular los índices de la red alimentaria del suelo.No se encontró ningún efecto significativo entre los índices de la red alimenticia del suelo y los diferentes tratamientos, excepto en el cociente entre la huella depredador y presa objetivo que mostró diferencia significativa entre el tratamiento CB y los otros tres tratamientos. |

This work aims to measure the population levels of phytonematodes and soil nematodes in the presence of bananas, coffee and coffee trees in northern Nicaragua. The study was conducted in 28 farms in the community of Monterrey. Four treatments were evaluated per farm: Coffee-Banana-legume (CBL), Coffee-Banana (CB), coffee-legume (CL) and coffee in full sun (C). The coffee variety in the plantations was Caturra, the banana was Gros Michel and the legume was guaba (Inga sp.) The variables measured in each of the treatments were: percentage of litter, weed percentage, percentage of shade and soil bulk density. The results showed statistically significant differences at one level. Fisher LSD multiple comparisons were used to determine which treatments were generating statistical differences. Nematodes identified in the soil were used to calculate soil food web parameters.We found no significant effect between the different treatments and indices of the soil food web, except that the ratio of predator and target prey footprint of the CB treatment was significantly different from that of the other three treatments. |
