La investigación busca fortalecer a las organizaciones locales en la gestión integrada del recurso hídrico, transfiriendo herramientas metodológicas para apoyar la conservación de las Áreas de Protección y calidad del agua de los ríos Segundo y Potrerillos. El proyecto se desarrolló desde un enfoque participativo, es decir se involucró a los diferentes grupos en el muestreo de calidad del agua, así como en la caracterización de las AP. De igual forma se coordinaron de forma conjunta las acciones a desarrollar, así como la discusión y análisis de los datos recopilados.Es de suma importancia que los procesos de transferencia de tecnología se acompañen de un proceso de información, en este caso, el proceso de socializar con los grupos locales. Se puede concluir que este tipo de metodologías participativas tienen un gran potencial respecto a lo que los grupos locales pueden aportar para la gestión o cogestión de microcuencas en el país. Se pudo observar que el hecho de disponer diferentes datos facilitó a los grupos locales vincular las problemáticas observadas con otras situaciones que ya conocían de las microcuencas y por ende, tener mayor claridad a la hora de plantear estrategias para abordarlas. |
