En el Centro de Investigación La Violeta, en Cochabamba, Bolivia, se estudiaron tres especies de tréboles: blanco, fragiferum y rojo, asociados con pasto ovillo, bajo dos sistemas de explotación (corte y pastoreo). Después de tres años de evaluación, las diferentes asociaciones no muestran diferencias significativas (P 0,05) en producción de forraje (MS). Para el mismo periodo (1981-1983), la producción de materia seca del sistema de explotación corte es cuantitativamente superior, con diferencia significativa (P 0,05) al sistema de explotación pastoreo. En la interacción asociaciones por sistema de explotación existen diferencias significativas (P 0,05), obteniéndose los mayores rendimientos en materia seca con las asociaciones trébol blanco y trébol fragiferum asociados con pasto ovillo, bajo el sistema de explotación corte; el trébol rojo, asociado con pasto ovillo, resulta indiferente al sistema de explotación corte o pastoreo, por el método de pastoreo racional, al que fueron sometidos los tréboles. Al finalizar el tercer año de evaluación, el análisis de la composición botánica muestra diferencias significativas (P 0,05), entre las diferentes asociaciones: participando los tréboles blanco, fragiferum y rojo con 66; 50 y 45 por ciento y las gramíneas con 33; 49 y 52 por ciento, respectivamente. No existen diferencias significativas en la composición botánica para el sistema de explotación; sin embargo, las leguminosas tienen ligera superioridad porcentual en el sistema de explotación pastoreo |
