It presents an agricultural diagnosis of the Central region of the Dominican Republic (National District and the provinces of San Cristóbal and Peravia). The informative content is arranged in two volumes. The first volume includes: Basic information on natural resources; information on the agricultural sector of the central region reported by area agents of the Secretary of State for Agriculture (SEA); agro-economic study by crops and zones; and analysis of the general situation of agricultural production, commercialization and agricultural credit. The second volume contains: analysis of current sources of credit for small producers; characterization of small agricultural holdings; planning of social services and infrastructure; and basic information on socio-institutional aspects. |
