En Costa Rica los requisitos que deben cumplirse para el correcto etiquetado de los alimentos preenvasados, se fundamentan en las disposiciones contenidas en el Reglamento Técnico RTCR 100: 1997, aprobado por Decreto Ejecutivo no. 26012-MEIC, y sus modificaciones. Se debe tomar en cuenta, además, lo dispuesto en los reglamentos técnicos nacionales específicos para los productos, así como de las disposiciones complementarias contenidas en el Codex Alimentarius. En el caso específico de los quesos, la norma de referencia es el Decreto no. 18462-MEIC |
