Consta el estudio de un tema central que compete a la determinación de las ventajas comparativas del sector agropecuario, abordando la investigación a dos niveles: el macroeconómico, en su interacción intersectorial y el microeconómico, en su definición espacial de la toma de decisiones que afectan la actividad productiva individual e impactan el agregado sectorial. En la primera parte se destaca el estudio de ventajas comparativas en el contexto internacional y nacional, la estrategia teórico metodológica del estudio y el sector agrícola. La segunda parte se refiere a la metodología para la identificación de ventajas comparativas de los rubros del estudio, a la caracterización de los principales rubros del sector agrícola, al análisis técnico y financiero, y resultados económicos. El tercer documento presenta el resumen ejecutivo del estudio, el cual se inscribe en un contexto que abarca tanto el ámbito iternacional como el nacional e integra tres vertientes analíticas: la macroeconómica, la sectorial y la microeconómica.
