Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Argentina durante el 2019, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleció y promocionó la agricultura familiar, la bioeconomía, la equidad de género, la mejora del equilibrio neto de carbono de los suelos y de las acciones de consumo sostenible, ante el cambio climático. Contribuyendo en la mejora de las capacidades institucionales y técnicas en el tema de la sanidad agropecuaria e inocuidad de los alimentos (SAIA); así mismo se diseñó, una estrategia de desarrollo territorial orientada al establecimiento de proyectos sostenibles, como la conformación y funcionamiento de Cámara Argentina de Bioinsumos (CABIO) y el desarrollo del primer curso de formación para jóvenes dirigentes cooperativistas, potenciando la participación de los jóvenes. Finalmente se estableció una hoja de ruta para la cooperación horizontal en aspectos científico-tecnológicos y regulatorios en materia de tecnología de punta.
