The "PHILAGRIP" Project, to be financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will be located in an area adjoining on the north and east sides of the Allsides Project which is financed jointly by the Simon Bolivar Fund and the Government of Jamaica. One of the objectives of the Project is the promotion of food production. The Co-operative approach for agricultural production is one which has been given some consideration in the historic development of agriculture in the Caribbean.

El Proyecto "PHILAGRIP", que será financiado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), se ubicará en un área colindante en los lados norte y este del Proyecto Allsides que es financiado conjuntamente por el Fondo Simón Bolívar y el Gobierno de Jamaica. . Uno de los objetivos del Proyecto es la promoción de la producción de alimentos. El enfoque cooperativo para la producción agrícola es uno al que se le ha dado alguna consideración en el desarrollo histórico de la agricultura en el Caribe.
