The main activities carried out by the Institute in Barbados during 2015 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as agrotourism, innovation, technology, greenhouses, nutrition, beekeeping, horticulture, composting, resilience against climate change and organic agriculture. Likewise, work was done on artificial insemination, water storage, international trade and the inclusion of women and youth in agriculture. Finally, the strengthening of the value chains of hot peppers, blackbelly sheep, rabbits and crops was supported.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Barbados durante el 2015, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como agroturismo, innovación, tecnología, invernaderos, nutrición, apicultura, horticultura, compostaje, resiliencia contra el cambio climático y agricultura orgánica. Asimismo, se trabajó en la inseminación artificial, almacenamiento de agua, en el comercio internacional y en la inclusión de mujeres y jóvenes en la agricultura. Finalmente, se apoyo el fortalecimiento de las cadenas de valor de los pimientos picantes, ovejas blackbelly, conejos y cultivos.
