Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Panamá durante el 2011, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como agroturismo, energía renovable, financiamiento, agronegocios, gestión territorial, capacitación, agroinformática, gestión de proyectos, comunicación, aprendizaje a distancia, inocuidad, biocombustibles, tecnología postcosecha, modernización, gestión y transferencia del conocimiento, riego, manejo de cuencas de ríos, horticultura y resiliencia contra el cambio climático.
