Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Paraguay durante el 2010, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como gestión territorial, biotecnología, gestión de riesgos, capacitación, cooperación técnica, sanidad alimentaria, por medio del Codex Alimentarius, gestión del conocimiento, liderazgo, desarrollo rural, agroturismo, producción, exportación, comercio, bioseguridad, control de calidad, agricultura orgánica, recursos forestales, bioseguridad, semillas y control de enfermedades.
