Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Guatemala, durante el período comprendido desde el año 2010 al 2017, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como buenas prácticas agrícolas, innovación, agricultura familiar, desarrollo rural, manejo postcosecha, agronegocios, fruticultura, seguridad alimentaria y nutricional. Finalmente, se trabajó en mejorar las cadenas de valor del maíz, frijol, aguacate, papa, tomate y yuca.

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Guatemala are identified, during the period from 2010 to 2017, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as good agricultural practices, innovation, family farming, rural development, management postharvest, agribusiness, fruit growing, food and nutritional security. Finally, work was done to improve the value chains of corn, beans, avocado, potato, tomato and cassava.
