This manual is an adaptation of an original publication entitled Starting and Financing a Small Business in Jamaica: A Guide. The guide to starting and financing a small business in Trinidad and Tobago was developed for those individuals or groups who want to start a small business or project and need to find out if their business ideas are feasible. It also tkes the micro-entrepreneur two steps further, by looking at sources of financing and those things which need to be done to get the proposed business off the ground. This guide has also been prepared for the trainers (extensionists, field officers and advisors) who are helping to get these small businesses started. (MIBA)
