It addressed developmental issues ranging from production to marketing. The proceedings of the technical sessions are arranged in four sections as follows: 1) regional presentations; 2) country project reports; 3) conclusions and action programme; and 4) external agency co-peration. The major output of the Workshop was the establishment of a Regional Network on Yam Development Projects in the Eastern Caribbean States, to further horizontal co-operation in agricultural diversification in the region.
