Continuously, it refers to the review of previous studies and selected disease/pest monitoring systems, with feasibility report on animal health information and data monitoring systems for CARICOM member states and Suriname; other animal health systems and studies in the Caribbean; plant disease/pest surveillance and monitoring systems in the Caribbean; and, selected animal and plant disease/pest monitoring systems in the United States and Canada. Then, refers to the proposal for development of a regional monitoring network, with a strategy for the Caribbean Region; resources; proposed implementation strategy with four recommendations; and, identification of information needs and possible model projects. Finally, it is included three appendixes. (MIBA)
