Profiles on 19 rural organizations and 9 support organizations are presented. The types of services provided by the respective rural organizations are shown in Table 3. All of the rural organizations receive some financial or technical assistance from national, regional or international organizations. Each rural and support organization included in the study has had important experiences which will contribute to the design of a more effective rural development strategy for Barbados. (MIBA)
