This document presents the background, main characteristics and evolution of the economy of Grenada and its agricultural development strategy. It presents the environment of the agricultural area under cultivation, land potential structural characteristics of the agricultural sector, farmers institutional structure, public and private sector institutions, regional and international organizations, and sources of credit. It analyses sector crop and livestock performance, marketing and agroindustry. The document concludes with policy and project identification development potential, summary of main constraints, goals, recommendations and a proposed calendar for implementation. (MIBA)
