The document presents the multinational project Supporting the development of livestock production systems in Guyana and Suriname. Actions to be taken will include: resolving difficulties in the institutional capability, adapt and transfer appropriate technology; improving research systems geared towards generation and transfer of technology in resolving livestock production problems; improving the skill of technical personnel of related institutions, and improving the institutional capability of designing and implementing projects at all levels to improve livestock production. The project will also will offer support and collaboration in the planning, preparation and implementation of the actions and activities related to transfer of technology to farmers. (MIBA)
