The intermediate objectives (outputs) of the project were defined as the establisment of two rural service centers; the development of a small farmers' marketing system; increased availability of credit for small farmers; facilities for the preparation of radio programmes; the availability of new varieties of food crops; the establishment of a new veterinary laboratory; the provision of facilities for collection of safe drinking water (drums); the construction of latrines.
