This document explains about this project is designed to address the core problem of the limited participation of youth in the rural and agricultural development process in the Eastern Caribbean States (ECS), involving, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitt and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It has as its mission the empowerment of Caribbean Rural Youth to augment their income earning capacity and technical knowledge base, build their countries and preserve their environment through training, skills development and entrepreneurship. The project is presented in response to the major challenges facing youth in the Caribbean as well as the opportunities available for then to make a meaningful contribution to rural development and economic growth in the region. It supports the actions and activities of regional governments in their quest to increase the involment of young people in the development process
