The main activities carried out by the Institute in Barbados during 2016 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as innovation, beekeeping, agrotourism, governance, plant health, animal health, resilience against climate change, health and food safety. Finally, it supported the improvement of the occupational standard and the value chains of rum and coconut.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Barbados durante el 2016, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como innovación, apicultura, agroturismo, gobernanza, sanidad vegetal, sanidad animal, resiliencia contra el cambio climático, sanidad e inocuidad alimentaria. Finalmente, se apoyó en mejorar el estándar ocupacional y en las cadenas de valor del ron y el coco.
