This book is presented, within the framework of the WTO Ministerial meeting in Buenos Aires, as an effort to share opinions and ideas in order to advance the complex issues that impact agricultural trade, and to provide information on their importance for the economic and social progress of the countries of the Southern Cone of the Americas. There is still much to be done, and we all should continue to work together to truly make trade an engine for development and an instrument of social justice and environmental sustainability.
