Enriched by diverse perspectives, it presents a Mexican view of the Institute's importance and its potential role in a Mexico undergoing a political and economic opening. The topic was explored following a uniform outline. Respondents first gave their views regarding Mexico's current policy-making environment to provide context to assess IICA's activity. Next, they described their perceptions of the Institute's image and key attributes. Finally they addressed the issue of expectations, including a vision of IICA's potential role in the next decade. The report is laid out in three sections, each one repeating the themes in ever-greater depth. Thus the Executive Summary is an overview of the conclusions and implications; the Research Highlights presents the salient points supporting the conclusions; the Detailed Findings presents extensive verbatims, enhancing the collective opinion with the authentic texture of individual commentary. | ||
