Los resultados indican que la desigualdad económica y cultural existente en la zona es un factor importante para las relaciones. | ||
| 520 | _aThe present document analyzes the relationship of the mining company Pierina with its environmental and socioeconomic surroundings. This analysis focuses on the area influenced by Pierina's mining operations. Its main objectives are: (a) to analyze the relationship of the mining operation Pierina with community organizations, (b) to identify themes of shared interest as well as points of agreement and conflict, (c) to generate evaluation guidelines and procedures to improve the equity and fruitfulness of relations between the mining operations and the people and the natural environment. The results indicate that the existing cultural differences and economic inequality in the zone are important factors impacting these relationships. | ||
