Así, en los últimos seis años se fortalecieron procesos globales y hemisféricos de diálogo, consenso y compromiso para construir un mundo más justo, seguro, próspero y equitativo en el siglo XXI. Los objetivos del Desarrollo del Milenio y sus metas al 2015, así como los mandatos del Proceso Cumbre de las Américas son resultados significativos y vigentes de esos procesos, a los cuales el IICA se adhirió plenamente y contribuye decididamente a su logro.
520			_aAt the beginning of a new century and millennium, the political leaders of the countries and the organizations undertook with greater determination the identification of challenges and the adoption of commitments on the future development of humanity. Thus, in the last six years, global and hemispheric processes of dialogue, consensus and commitment have been strengthened to build a more just, secure, prosperous and equitable world in the 21st century. The Millennium Development Goals and their goals for 2015, as well as the mandates of the Summit of the Americas Process are significant and current results of those processes, to which IICA fully adheres and contributes decisively to their achievement.
