520			_aSe identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Paraguay durante el 2019, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, contribuyó en el desarrollo comercial competitivo de la agricultura familiar, el fortalecimiento de las capacidades técnicas en el desarrollo rural, en la atención de riesgos producidos por eventos meteorológicos, en las buenas prácticas en la agricultura y en la mitigación del impacto del cambio climático en la agricultura familiar, campesina e indígena. Asimismo, se trabajaron temas de políticas publicas, de desarrollo rural sostenible, de energías renovables, de floricultura y de administración de plantaciones y bosques. Sin dejar de lado, el apoyo que se brindo en la atención de emergencias y acciones de asistencia humanitaria a las poblaciones afectadas por incendios forestales. Finalmente, se puso en marcha el Centro Regional de Comercialización Agrícola (CERCA) en el departamento de Caaguazú, para el acopio y comercialización de productos de pequeños y medianos productores, bajo una alianza público-privada.
520			_aThe main activities carried out by the Institute in Paraguay during 2019 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, it contributed to the competitive commercial development of family farming, the strengthening of technical capacities in rural development, in the attention of risks produced by meteorological events, in good practices in agriculture and in mitigating the impact of climate change on family, peasant and indigenous agriculture. Likewise, issues of public policies, sustainable rural development, renewable energies, floriculture and administration of plantations and forests were worked on. Without neglecting, the support provided in emergency care and humanitarian assistance actions to populations affected by forest fires. Finally, the Regional Center for Agricultural Marketing (CERCA) was launched in the department of Caaguazú, for the collection and marketing of products from small and medium-sized producers, under a public-private partnership.
