520 _aSe presenta las actividades y proyectos ejecutados por el IICA en el año 1990. El presente Informe resume las principales acciones llevadas a cabo en 1990, desglosadas de la siguiente manera: En el Capitulo 1 se describen los lineamientos estratégicos y avances del PLANALC tanto a nivel hemisférico como subregional. En el Capítulo 2 se describen las orientaciones actuales de los cinco Programas del IICA, con énfasis en Sus acciones multinacionales y hemisféricas. En el Capitulo 3 se efectúa un breve análisis de la situación de los países miembros del Instituto y se describen los proyectos multinacionales y nacionales de cooperación técnica llevados a cabo en cada una de las áreas durante 1990. En el Capítulo 4 se aborda el tema de las relaciones externas orientadas a la captación de recursos extracuota, indispensables para ejecutar los programas y proyectos identificados como prioritarios por los países. Por último, en el Capitulo 5 se detalla la estructura de gestión del Instituto y se ofrece información sobre los recursos humanos y financieros durante el periodo de referencia.
520 _aThe activities and projects carried out by IICA in 1990 are presented. This Report summarizes the principal activities carried out by HCA during 1990: Chapter 1 outlines the strategic guidelines of the PLANLAC, and progress made to implement it at both the hemispheric and subregional levels. Chapter 2 describes the current activities of each of IICA's five Programs, especially their multinational and hemispheric actions. Chapter 3 offers a brief analysis of the agricultural situation in the Institute's Member States and describes the national and multinational technical cooperation projects caried out in each during 1990. Chapter 4 discusses the external relations developed with a view to securing extra-quota resources for executing programs and projects identified as priorities by the countries. Chapter 5 details IICA's management structure and provides information on the Institute's human resources and financial standing for the period under review.
