| 520 | _aEl 14 de noviembre de 2012, el Comité de Agricultura de la OMC celebró su última reunión de este año, en la que el Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA) participó como miembro observador. Dicho Comité tiene como atribuciones fundamentales comprobar el grado en que los países cumplen sus compromisos en materia de subvenciones y de acceso a los mercados y debatir las cuestiones que se planteen en sus reuniones. Así, uno de los temas tratados en la 68.a reunión lo constituyeron las violaciones de parte de Costa Rica, Tailandia, la Unión Europea (UE) e Indonesia a los compromisos que contrajeron en materia de subvenciones o acceso a los mercados para el arroz, el azúcar y los productos hortícolas. | ||
