520			_aSe identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Venezuela durante el 2018, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de agricultura familiar, buenas prácticas agrícolas, bioseguridad, innovación, tecnología, cosecha y poscosecha, agricultura sostenible, sanidad e inocuidad, gestión de emergencias, agroecología, ganadería, la resistencia antimicrobiana y el control de plagas, como el huanglongbing. Asimismo, se trabajo en el uso responsable del agua, en el uso del Sistema Intensivo de Cultivo del Arroz, en fortalecer las cadenas de producción avícola, lechera, floricultura, hortalizas, café, granos y cacao. Finalmente, se apoyo en el fortalecimiento de la información geografía, en el mejoramiento genético, en la producción de alimento para animales, en el empoderamiento de las mujeres, en alianzas entre el sector público y privado y en fortalecer al pequeño y mediano productor.
520			_aThe main activities carried out by the Institute in Venezuela during 2018 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening in matters of family farming, good agricultural practices, biosafety, innovation, technology, harvest and post-harvest, sustainable agriculture, health and safety, emergency management, agroecology, livestock, antimicrobial resistance and pest control, such as huanglongbing. Likewise, work was done on the responsible use of water, on the use of the Intensive Rice Cultivation System, on strengthening the chains of poultry, dairy, floriculture, vegetables, coffee, grains and cocoa production. Finally, support was given to strengthening geographic information, genetic improvement, animal feed production, women's empowerment, partnerships between the public and private sectors, and strengthening small and medium producers.
